Pale caramel dorsal ground, traversed by characteristic TWO spiral bands of white, and densely stippled with rich caramel maculae. Beautiful egg yolk yellow margins, with characteristic / diagnostic RAISED, fine node-like marginal maculae. An exquisite specimen for the Cypraeidae connoisseur. Data: Off Facpi Island, Hagat, Guam; upon reef substrate, under coral slab; 14 m; dived; 1999. Size: 14.6 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne. |
