| Note | GEM. The biggest of all time. Crazy mega giant specimen and probably the largest specimen ever offer in Shellauction. Much larger than the maximum known size reported in Heinke's book - "Sea Urchins" of 50mm diameter. The usual size is 25mm ~ 35mm. Thus at 54.2mm, it dwarf any specimen you seen online. Perfectly cleaned with apical disc fully intact and preserved with the 4 conspicuous anal plates. Absolutely stunning blight green colour with lovely cleaned and beautiful tubercles. Found by trawling in 100m deep, Dec 2001. My very last pc and the biggest one I kept for decades. Rarely seen such a huge specimen that comes with the preserved 4 conspicuous anal plates.
