| Note | Exquisite patterned and uncommon cone from the West Pacific. The shell shows strong anterior cording, flawless thick natural lip, strong coronations and a beautiful blotched sunset/coral/ and light pumpkin orange botched pattern. The shell shows a striking array of short and long flammules. The cone was collected in sand/coral substrate by Scuba diver at 52--56 meters off Serigaki Beach, Okinawa, western Pacific Ocean in the 90s. The specimen shows a micro concavity on the dorsal body whorl and subtle erosion of the protoconch. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
