| Note | Young specimen with outstanding foliaceous varices with long recurved foliated spines. The specimen is aesthetically impressive, as subadult specimens of better quality are hard to find, uncommon and collector desired. Classic white hue with three rows of varices and a high upturned angle of curves on the spine terminals. Light/dark brown tinted costae and striae combing for an interesting body whorl pattern. Taken by tangle net at 100-120 meters off Punta Engaño, Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines in 2008. The specimen has micro-chipping of the thin siphonal canal terminus. Grade: F+++/GEM minus. |
