| Note | Remarkable and superb example of this North Pacific cold-water subspecies. The specimen presents with intact protoconch, spire and siphonal canal. Beautiful banding pattern as shown in the images with elegant form and fluting of the varices. Collected by Scuba diver at 12-15 meters while feeding on a mussel bed at Posiet Bay, south of Vladivostok, Russia, Sea of Japan. The specimen is splendid, but shows modest wear on some varices and hairline chip of the siphonal canal. Grade: F+++. |
