| Note | Superb specimen with remarkable pigmentation complemented with a deep dark orange/black colored dorsum and orange/pink color of the labral and columellar walls The specimen has amazing nacre gloss, perfect extremities and a flawless porcelain-like rusty infused base. Taken by free diver H.W. Schindler under coral rubble at the base of hard reef at 1-3 meters off Massawa, Eritrea in 1969. The specimen exhibits a sparse collection of small white flecks and micro-pits covering the entire dorsum seen best under magnification. Grade: F++/F+++. |
