| Note | Classic and impressive Zoila with a endearing fluently distributed dorsal pattern, high glistening gloss and high black/dark brown gleaming lateral walls. The thersites displays absolutely impeccable nacre, perfect extremities, moderate to strong rostration and a beautiful grey/cream dorsum primary hue. The flared margins show moderate tuberculation and flaring. A remarkable specimen with an unmistakable character and form. Taken by Scuba diver at 30 meters off Thorney Passage, Port Lincoln, South Australian 2004. The shell shows some glazed (nacred and repaired) white flecks mid-dorsum, one sand grain inclusion on the posterior columellar ramp and a nacred pimple on the posterior labral exterior extremity. Grade: F+++. |
