The jeaniana shows a thick glossy nacre with perfect extremities. The shell displays modest rostration, moderate/strong marginal tuberculation and a glazed deep brown/burlywood hued base. It shows a moderate weight/size ratio (25.7 grams), with a wonderful distribution of lateral wall spots complementing the striking apricot/nude lateral walls and margin. Collected by Scuba diver Gary Wilson at 37 meters while sitting on a blue Spirastrella sponge off Point Quobba, Western Australia in 2005. The Zoila is a keeper with negligible blemishes. Grade: GEM minus. |
