NoteA super rare goldie that we recently collected from 135 metres of water south of Augusta in December 2025. Clearly crabbed. Unfortunately the habitat in which we find raywalkeri is shared with a large species of leather jacket fish that are extremely aggressive and commonly attack our ROV and it's umbilical that can result in significant damage. They have razor sharp chisel teeth and have the bad habit of nipping the mantles of Zoila. The majority of specimens found have dorsal teeth scrapes and/or siphon chips. if live, the shells animal heal and re-glaze this damage but true gems are very few and far between. This solid but crabbed specimen has a stunning dark golden flared base with matching high sides. The top of the light golden dorsum has some nacre erosion and both siphons are intact but the anterior flange is chipped. Super Rare GOLDIE !!!
