Huge, burnetti-like form, with collective varices creating exquisitely balanced proportions. Ultra-clean: devoid of encrustation. Well-preserved ceras. Ultra-rich colour. Very difficult to obtain at this size and quality now. Data: Off San Diego, San Diego County, California, USA; upon reef substrate, amongst rocks, amongst kelp forest; 18 m; dived; 1994.
