Note

One very very nice specimen of Fissurella peruviana in excellent condition, collected washed ashore alive among algae and rubble in a rocky beach. This is the smallest Fissurella found in Chile, with shells barely reaching 40 mm. This specimen was lightly cleaned and it has a natural colorful dorsum with some sparse white calcareous algae (which can be cleaned further), and its has a very nice sculpture of rugose radial ribs and a very nice pattern of alternating dark and pale radial streaks. This specimen is in the best condition for the species, and I am here offering it a a very low initial price.
