| Note | An EXCEPTIONAL specimen of the RARE, DEEP-WATER FORM. Fully mature at this diminutive size, and of exemplary quality for this form. Beautiful subtle colour. Only a handful of examples of this rare form were obtained during recent extreme deep-water collecting, and even fewer were of this quality. Definitely for the advanced Cassidae specialist whose collection yet lacks this recently discovered form. Data: Off False Entrance, Carrarang, Gascoyne Region, Western Australia, Australia; upon sand substrate, amongst sponges; 205 m; ROV; 2023. Size: 50.8 mm. Grading: Gem.
