A product of the legendary 1980s Queensland trawls, and not collected since. Now obtainable only from choice old collections, and almost never of this size and quality. Definitely for the Cassidae specialist requiring a first-rate example of this elusive deep-water species. Data: Capricorn Channel, Queensland, Australia; upon fine-grained sediment substrate; 80-100 m; trawled; 1982. Size: 41.5 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne. |
