NoteThis specimen was ROV collected in April 2024 from a bollard sponge in 77 metres of water west north west of Kalbarri. It is a super dark glossy shell with a near black dorsum, a chocolate brown base and beautiful contrasting cream sides with intense black spotting and dark siphons. Graded Gem- as a hint of a fold can be felt on the dorsum but cannot be seen.
