In addition to its WRS, the specimen is of remarkable beauty – elongate and slender of form, and exhibiting a beautiful pattern of dense, evenly distributed stippling, across an antique ivory dorsum. An IMPORTANT specimen for the highly advanced Cypraeidae specialist, or collector of giant-sized / WRS shells. Data: Off Rabaul, East New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea; upon reef substrate; 4-6 m; dived; 1989. Size: 27.9 mm. Grading: Fine++++ (one tiny inclusion hidden on columellar margin).
