| Note | RARE MOSNTER SIZE WITH 30mm WOOOOOW!! Incredible huge size for the species with the best conditions you can get with impressive reddish axial banding between the white-yellowish coloration, a black dorsal ring on top with exquisite effect. The ventral side shows a glossy conditions with greenish cream colors and the lip is just perfect and intact , not broken. This lips growth exactly like the stones where the are attached. Some minor natural growth mark in a side almost lost otherwise gem. F++++. Apparently feeding on the marine soup that comes and goes with the currents, waves and seaweeds attached to the smooth stones, this species lives where the waves break and in the intertidal zone. Really hard to remove from stones without braking them. Found attached to the volcanic rocks with green and brown algae at extremely low tide. Playa el Tecuan, Jalisco, Mexico. November 2025.
