| Note | One nice specimen of the rare Fissurella costata. This species is naturally rare and hard to collect because it lives only in large rocks or boulders in the surf zone, so it is always out of reach in the coast and the waves here are huge. These have very concave shells, with narrow and sharp margins. This specimen has a natural dorsum, ligtly cleaned, was collected by a fishermen and it has some chips in the border, as can be seen in the images, hence the very low price. |
