EXTREMELY RARE GIANT SIZE NOWADAYS WOOOOOOW!! Huge size with 206mm about. I remember when I was a child that these natural beauties were giants. I even have some giant specimens in my private collection of gifts from my father's diving friends from many years ago who have since passed away. Today, these giants are extremely rare. Here you can admire a huge piece with a nice condition but not gem. The ventral side is coming with the best Museum conditions, intact completely , with an ultra rare wide and thick lip with the craziest elongated denticles and teeth all around the lip. A very thick unusual wide unique parietal wall combined with an extended colossal columellar lip, deeper inside the aperture the elevated great columellar folds. The ventral side is just a dream for display. The dorsal shows a real massive elevated dorsum with super globose form, elegant spiral thick banding ribs all around with superb sculpture and fresh fantastic light and dark cream colors. Very rare intact protoconch for this rare giant size and formidable spire. The shell present an Exquisite and Elegant glossy aperture with a porcelain dark cream colors. Huge great size for the population and hard to get this big sizes nowadays. Super undulated lip with the best long incredible denticles and undulated form, amazing teeth in all lip. The most thick and extended elegant wide Columellar lip!! The real huge beauty. The shell is coming with light erosion parts on the dorsal side and dorsal spire side as usual for this huge sizes and some scars-growth marks of life, F++-F+++ . For advancer collectors and lovers of this fantastic Family. One of my Favorite big shells in the pacific with so unique form and sculpture compare with all Tonas species and the biggest of the Maleas species. They are most night active , They are rarely hunting during the day. Hart to find in the day because they are most complete buried. Superb fresh piece!!! Found buried in sand under huge platforms stones about 10m deep. La Calechosa Bahia de Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. November 2025.
