| Note | Superbly tented, solid and remarkably glossy specimen pair with balanced elongate robust body whorl and perfect natural lips. Pattern markings exhibit a strong blend and distribution of lovely sharp tenting with a mixed dark brown primary banding, like fine geometric painting in a modern art gallery. The primary body whorl hue beams of exquisite pink/nude pigment tones. Collected in sand cruising at 10-15 meters by Scuba diver off Bahia San Carlos, Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico in the Sea of Cortez circa 80s. The specimens presents with subtle glazed subnacre growth folds and the larger shell shows protoconch erosion. Grade: F+++/GEM minus for both. |
