| Size | 47.8 mm |
| Locality | Caldera, northern Chile |
| Note | One very nice live-taken and colorful specimen (although a bit on the smaller side) of Fissurella pulchra, the rarest species of Fissurella found in Chile. This species lives in the subtidal in some specific areas, and it is naturally rare in its environment. Usually these species has small shells and this particular specimen is a normal specimen, however it has an excellent dorsum, which is always covered with calcareous algae and barnacles in larger and older specimens. A very low initial price for a rare and interesting species from the SE Pacific. |
