Note
A superb specimen, of a RARE form, collected over half a century ago, with important provenance. Beautiful colours: lemon, and ochre, with bright pink apex. Not freshly collected for decades, and now obtainable only from choice old collections. The specimen was formerly in the renowned Archibald L. Jones collection, of the US, and the original 1967 Jones label accompanies the specimen. The Jones collection was specialised in Liguus fasciatus, and Jones self-collected innumerable important specimens across his century-long life. Data: Dark Hammock, Long Pine Key, Everglades, Florida, USA; upon tree branch, in forest; 1967. Size: 48.6 mm. Grading: Fine++. Provenance: 1) Archibald L.
