NoteSpecimen outstanding for its base: deeply concave with super strong teeth expanding to the inside of the shell. Very glossy and heavy. A couple of soft superficial, glazed over scratches on the dorsum and what appears to be an attempted drill between teeths of the labral side. Collected off Ile Ouen in shallow water around 1985. One of a kind. Shadows and white marks are reflections from the camera. More images available.
