NoteLarge and lovely balanced specimen with impressive orchid violet foliaceous varices and spire, shared with a multi-shaded hued light violet body whorl and a mellow dark violet aperture. The colors are lovely and notable, considering the long time since collection. Perfect apex, spire and intact foliaceous processes. The specimen exhibits excellent balanced form and features. Collected by tangle net at 80-110 meters by local fisherman in the early 80's off Punta Engaño, Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines. Procured from old collection. The specimen exhibits slight erosion of the apex and siphonal tip. F+++/ GEM.
