| Note | Exceptionally dark blotched consueta with intense and moderate lateral margin tuberculation and an admirable dorsal line. The marginata displays significant corrugation on pronounced and sharply flared margins. Dark colored version of the subspecies with a huge coffee/brown/black colored blotches with maculae and high notable spotting that embraces the lateral walls, a real beauty. Taken by Scuba diver at 8-14 meters while feeding on a sponge in a coral reef cave in 4/2018 off Carnac Island, Western Australia. The Zoila presents with a micro-nick on the anterior columellar mid-tip. GEM minus. |
