| Note | An EXCEPTIONAL extremely large specimen of this very rare and singular species, exhibiting rich and beautiful colour. Hypermature, with ultra-thickened, glossy, dimpled peristome. Note: The ‘dimples’ of the peristome are only seen in rare hypermature examples. Exceedingly glossy periostracum. The specimen was collected by Andean natives. One of the most striking and coveted of all land snails, especially when seen at this level of size and beauty. Data: Molinopampa, Chachapoyas, Department of Amazonas, Peru; in tropical montane cloud forest, at 2400 MAMSL, upon tree trunk; September 2020. Size: 82.2 mm. Grading: Gem.
