| Note | THE BEST FULLY BLACK STRIPES AROUND AND UNIQUE THICK BROWN BANDED SPIRE!! Look at this contrast between black impeccable thick bands and white background color, combined with a thick black outline varices, wide fat shoulders and a rare thick brown spiral band around the spire, with intact spines spire until the complete apex. Thick stupendous lip and heavy shell. Natural blemish in one of the shoulder ventral spines otherwise Gem. F+++-F++. This rarity's shows elaborate striking spines branching into exceptional beauty. With intact long spiny lip, siphon and apex this is a seldom seen conditions for the species. Magnificent high level stunning conditions. In my own experience, the real beauty of this specimens cannot really be appreciated in the photos. I tried my best but it is not enough, this pieces are really unique and impressive in your hands. Great to add in your collection and make comparations of this crazy variable species! The best selected specimens with the best conditions. Choose your favorite in this special auction! Very hard to get with this incredible quality!! For Muricids lovers and advancer collectors , see pictures! This species is common in my region but maybe 99% of the specimens in the open sea shows strong erosion, drill holes and several scars, really ugly, in my own personal opinion and experience after diving for them for more than 15 years. Some rare populations hidden in bays or lagoons present good conditions but are rarely seen. Here is the best selection of this species with incredible spines, shapes and coloration. Found attached between big stones about 5m to 8m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. July 2025. Value for this thick black wonderful bands and thick varices: 45-55 euro.
