| Note | RARE BANDIND SHOULDER SPECIAL CURVED SPINES WOOOOW!! First time I have seen this unique band going all around and inside the shoulder branched spines. Magnificent striking superb wavy-curved shoulder and spire spines with a remarkable thick brown pattern stripes all around. Apex, lip and siphon in top conditions, with the longest branched spines, extra sharp spines form , incredible fantastic black-brown banding and shiny white background. Some minor defect here and there not really detracting the beauty. F+++. This rarity's shows elaborate striking spines branching into exceptional beauty. With intact long spiny lip, siphon and apex this is a seldom seen conditions for the species. Magnificent high level stunning conditions. In my own experience, the real beauty of this specimens cannot really be appreciated in the photos. I tried my best but it is not enough, this pieces are really unique and impressive in your hands. Great to add in your collection and make comparations of this crazy variable species! The best selected specimens with the best conditions. Choose your favorite in this special auction! This species is common in my region but maybe 99% of the specimens in the open sea shows strong erosion, drill holes and several scars, really ugly, in my own personal opinion and experience after diving for them for more than 15 years. Some rare populations hidden in bays or lagoons present good conditions but are rarely seen. Here is the best selection of this species with incredible spines, shapes and coloration. Found attached between big stones about 5m to 8m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. July 2025.
