| Note | One very nice specimen of Scurria araucana found among rocks in a rocky beach north of Caldera, northern Chile. This species, together with other Scurrias in the area, are very very variable, and some of their varieties received several names in the past. This particular specimen has a very nice shell with strong radial ribs on the dorsum (but with some algae still attached) and a very nice interior of the shell. A low initial price for an interesting limpet species endemic from the southeastern Pacific. |
