| Note | This large and exceedingly beautiful specimen accords extremely well with the characteristics of liltveldi, including the markedly lengthened posterior dentition; maculae extending as nebulous stripes onto ventrum; equal apertural width; and dense dorsal spotting, although I leave it to the advanced Cypraeidae specialist to determine its ultimate taxonomic placement. Pinkish cinnamon ground, decorated with multitudinous coalescent reddish caramel maculae, and spectacular margins, with large chocolate maculae. Hypermature, with pronounced marginal callosity. Two small marks upon ventrum from life upon the substrate are the only reason for the ‘Fine++’ grading. A truly beautiful cowrie.
