This specimen was collected from a sponge garden in 135 metres of water south of Augusta during April 2022. In the Augusta area we fine a limited number of very small specimens in depths of 130 to 150 metres while specimens collected from depths greater than 200 metres are significantly larger. Typical andreyi with china white base and a mottled tan dorsum. They are very hard to spot as they are always mantled up and blend in with sessile growth. It is a mature specimen and is graded Fine+++ due to some soft dorsal growth irregularity.
