The thick calloused and flared margins are outstanding and appreciated when held in hand. A light blue halo complements the superb visual impact. A classic "beauty to behold" specimen of the this rare and elusive species. Scuba diver collected by Gary Wilson at 25-29 meters in 2005. The shell was found sitting on sponges adorning a limestone reef west of Muiron Island, Exmouth Gulf, Western Australia. Grade: GEM. |
