Note
A Gulf of Mexico rarity from very deep water. This species is very rarely collected and offered in the market due to the inaccesibility of its deep water habitat, as well as collecting restrictions in this area.
It is a representative specimen, as the color is faded and it has a noticeable chip in the lip.
A good opportunity to add a very rare deep water Caribbean species for a lower price.
It was dredged dead at 1200 ft deep, near Egmont Key, Florida.
