GEM. The Gelagna succinctum is a very elegant and beautiful Cymatium. In the last decades it switched genus name and even family name repeatedly. This is a species that the experienced scuba diver can eventually find, although not very often. The sculpture of the shell is a masterpiece of nature: glossy raised spiral bands, darker than the interspaces, set with great mathematical correct precision over all of the body whorls. Slender and noble appearance. The supply of this species is very irregular, but fishermen occasionally find sets of several dozen. Sometimes the species disappears from the markets for years. For the lovers of beautiful shells.
