Some unique cases come with extraordinary exceptions and in this species you rarely find this type of situation where perfection is favorable in specimen conditions like this one. This specimen here is clearly a masterpiece of nature at its best in this wonderful species. Seldom seen so extended and perfect apex combined with exceptional spire, exceptional long spines dorsal siphon, long branched spines lip and the best white background with excellent thick and thin black-brownish bands all around. Museum piece Gem! The Muricanthus population in Barra de Navidad, Jalisco is unique, as the specimens are inside a lagoon with mangroves nearby and protected from currents and waves, most of them covered with algae and mud keeping their apex, spines and body generally intact, something completely different from the populations in the open sea, with much damage to their shells. Even so, these specimens here are incredibly rare with so much conditions for the species and with incredible shapes. Without a doubt this masterpiece is a treasure for anyone who wins it. It is much more impressive in your hands because of the details that you can't see in the photos.
