The spines are extremely long and branched with impeccable elegance. Truly a piece to show off and put at the front of your display case. Rarely seen so intact and so dark. Impressive sharp spiny lip, exceptional spines, black color form with tiny band line, Stunning spire and apex. The best of the best for this seldom seen species. F+++-Gem. The Muricanthus population in Barra de Navidad, Jalisco is unique, as the specimens are inside a lagoon with mangroves nearby and protected from currents and waves, most of them covered with algae and mud keeping their apex, spines and body generally intact, something completely different from the populations in the open sea, with much damage to their shells. Even so, these specimens here are incredibly rare with so much conditions for the species and with incredible shapes. Without a doubt this masterpiece is a treasure for anyone who wins it. It is much more impressive in your hands because of the details that you can't see in the photos.
