| Note | GEM. IN VERY RARE ORANGE. Ranellidae are curious shells, but one can hardly call them “superstars of beauty”. The present piece, as a few others, confirms that very beautiful also exists in that family. Cymatium pfeifferianum, very orange, in superb condition, with a thick varice all around the aperture. This aperture is calloused, as the siphonal canal, with pure porcellaneous white. A Major piece in any Ranellid collection, and because of the combination shape and color in any aesthetic collection.
