| Note | GEM. ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VEXILLUM EVER. And extremely rare. Searching the whole literature at our disposal and all internet resources, we found only one image that was shown on the homepage of “Manou” years ago. I do not know if this homepage is still online. But his shell got only one orange spiral line, not two as shown here. Extremely rare species, very specific with characters that are not very variable. A grand beauty and a major rarity to keep until the end of the life. From a famous Belgian collection, now dispersed, and collected way back in the 1970s.
