NoteNice shell with blue operculum. The shell was collected in North-western Australia but has no specific locality data. It has a slightly roughrnrd lip. Note that this shell has previously been sold by myself and others under the name stellare. Astralium expert Axel Alf has brought it to my attention that asteriscus is the correct name for this species and that the shell previously listed by some people as asteriscus is actually stellare. These corrected species names are consistent with the illustrations provided by Tryon (1888).
