| Note | ROV collected from a geodia sponge in 90 metres of water north northwest of Bernier Island.
The shell has a pretty faint pink dorsum with dark brown pepper spots and black / amber basal tiger stripes highlighted with orange.
The shell is graded Fine++/Fine+++ as it has nacre inclusions on the exterior of it's siphons and a dorsal growth irregularity. I classify this specimen as an ornata as it has coarser dorsal spots that in type ketyana we find farther south and finer and more regular spots than we see in novasuperba we find a little farther to the north. It is a very pretty shell. |
