Note | SPECIAL DARK COLOR WITH SEVERAL TINY SCALES WOOOOW!! The darkest of all with dark brown combined with tiny and elegant multiple scales. Incredible deep orange color all around the aperture with beautiful undulated lip, splendid spire with so elevated wall. Natural chip in some scales on dorsal top as usual for this size and scar almost lost in the ventral side not really detracting the beauty. F++-F+++. The beautiful orange fresh aperture is just exquisite and elegant with the best shinny colors. Very hard to get this species and with this incredible scales-nodules conditions. In this special auction you can admire and choose these incredible rare pieces of Neorapana muricata with amazing scales sculpture and fresh colors, choose your favorite. Do not miss this unique opportunity. For advancer collectors and lovers of rarities and aesthetic pieces of nature. This particular species is always found attached to large stones and apparently feeds more at night. Devourer of marine worms! The body is generally always accompanied and attached by many types of calcareous organisms and algae making them invisible in many cases. You need to have a very good eye to find them, and they are rare. Very rarely do you find good specimens with impressive conditions like this. Really hard to clean taking hours to get this result. The pictures taken are real and we do our best to make the color look exactly like the original. All colors are fresh in my shells as I collect everything myself and clean it before the auction. Some colors such as the orange color in the aperture may fade over time. But usually the color stays the same for months or years. Found attached between muddy stones about 7m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. April 2025. Value for the the darkest of all here, with special several tiny scales and deep vivid orange aperture : 150-180 euros. High resolution image available on request. Good luck and Happy shelling!!! MEXICO PACIFIC |
