Note | MUSEUM MASTERPIECE GIANT WITH ELEVATED BODY FORM AND THE LONGEST SPIENS EVER!! The best Giant with Gem conditions I have ever found in Barra de Navidad Lagoon. Wide oval unique form with so robust body form and colossal high dorsal shape. This going to be the best or the second best Muricanthus ambiguus in your collection for sure. The longest spines of all offered here with impressive longest spines in the anterior side of the shell. Special long spines in the lip and Exquisite aperture with elegant big black-brown spot in the inner lip and extremely undulated - wavy special lip. Spire with multiple spines all around and great colored pattern, near the apex side you can admire a great shiny white background with no erosion, really seldom seen with so beautiful white and rare intact apex, almost impossible at this sizes. 7 Varices in this specimen and all with extra long spines. The thick line bands are just Marvelous and with great effect for any aesthetic collector. Do not miss this unique opportunity to get a giant Gem and spiny rare specimen. The Muricanthus population in Barra de Navidad, Jalisco is unique, as the specimens are inside a lagoon with mangroves nearby and protected from currents and waves, most of them covered with algae and mud keeping their apex, spines and body generally intact, something completely different from the populations in the open sea, with much damage to their shells. Even so, these specimens here are incredibly rare with so much conditions for the species and with incredible shapes. High selected rare specimens for this special auction, choose your favorite. Without a doubt this masterpiece is a treasure for anyone who wins it. It is much more impressive in your hands because of the details that you can't see in the photos. Super high selection in situ with the best exceptional conditions you can get for this extraordinary and seldom seen species. Gem. For any MURICIDAE lovers! For advancer collectors. Found attached and buried between muddy stones with oysters about 6m- 7m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. April 2025. Value for this rare giant Gem and longest spines ever combined with superb elevated body form: 300-400 euros. High resolution image available on request. Good luck and Happy shelling!!!
