F++. RARE BLUE BEAUTY. A rather large – 127.5 mm – Conus gloriamaris from Cavite, near Manila. This is the other locality apart from Sogod that produces dark C. gloriamaris. This shell has unusual spiral bands in the pattern which make it stand out among fellow shells. The shoulder and heavy construction are pleasing and powerful. Famous among the famous, the Conus gloriamaris is more popular than ever.
