| Note | Two nice specimens of the edible mussel Aulacomya atra, one of the largest mussels found in northern Chile (only surpassed by the giant Choromytilus chorus). They partly preserve the periostracum and are in very good condition for the species. The dorsum of the shells can be cleaned further. |
