| Note | Large and heavy intense colored specimen with functioning hinge (movable attached valves) and large spathate spines. Nice color integration throughout both valves and excellent margins and complete marginal pigmentation. The shell was plucked by Scuba diver Paul Kanner at 10-30 meters either attached to rock/rubble or dead shell substrate off Isla Carmen, Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico in 1992. The shell shows four observable spine tip separations and a flat dorsal attachment area as seen in the images. NOTE: An additional 5€ will apply to Shipping costs for this specimen. Grade: F+++. |
