Gorgeous specimen with bright dorsal maculae and caffe latte/nude painted extremities. The shell displays remarkable deep nacre lustre, profound body inflation, thick margins with large knobby tubercules, modest rostration and classic golden/aurata coloring. The aurata shows a perfect sparkling soft yellow/porcelain white base with moderate lateral wall spotting on the labral aspect. A signature and classic Zoila specimen from the deep water. Harvested by ROV at 120 meters resting within a large barrel sponge off Bernier Island, Carnarvon, Western Australia in 2020. The shell displays two small shallow self-repaired and glossed over fish bite indentation areas on the labral mid-lateral wall, not visible in provided images. Grade: F+++.
