NoteI personally found this specimen in the Urumaco (Falcon) area in the dry bed of one of the rivers about 25 km from the coast. The area is rich in Oligocene megafauna, but later deposits also occur. All this gave me the opportunity to assume that this specimen belongs to the late Pleistocene and this shell is at least several thousand years old. The specimen is noticeably different from the modern species - the shell is relatively narrow and high with a huge and massive horn. For specialists. ATTENTION!
