Note | This species is rarely collected as it inhabits silty limestone on the top of undersea cliffs in 190 to 230 metres of water. Crabbed shell ROV collected off Leeman in Western Australia during March 2024 from 195 metres of water. A creamy stout species with light tan nodules and outer lip with a very conspicuous brown blotch on the parietal wall. Exceptional condition for a dead collected shell. Gem other than the lack of an operculum. |
