NoteA NICE SURPRISE FROM MADAGASCAR. Here is a magnificent specimen of Paucispinosa from fishermen from Fort Dauphin. It is not known whether these shells were caught with trawls or with the classic lobster traps in 40 m depth from this area. Very rarely seen in collections. It is very difficult to acquire really decent material of paucispinosa. This is a very nice specimen with the typical sculpture and really large for the subspecies. From an old collection.
