Note | Larger super-inflated impressive intensely pigmented large peach/camel brown Umbilia trawled from the southern Australian GAB. The specimen shows distinctive dark tinted extremities, a large dark camel/brown dorsal blotch and strongly colored extremities. Ultra-globular shell with deep nacre gloss, exceptional intense pigmentation and fantastic morphology, form and symmetry. Trawled in the Great Australian Bight off Yalata, South Australia on muddy/sandy substrate at 170-180 meters in 5/2003 off the corner of the Nullarbor National Park. the specimen features a perfect base and extremities, minor negligible blemishes and mini-folds on the anterior ramp. Grade: GEM minus. |
