This magnificent specimen F+++ has a tiny prick hole below protoconch but is extremely difficult to see even with magnification.
This is a rare brown marked loisae-the vast majority from Esperance have reddish brown coloration. Shell is in live condition with near-perfect foliation and sculpture. There is minimal damage to the delicate varices. There has not been any night diving in Esperance for more than 10 years due to Great White Shark fears and lack of divers motivated to navigate dangerous waters at night.
